We believe the global Church is God’s primary instrument to bring the reality of God’s kingdom to the world.  It is a precious and powerful group of people, who exist for the purpose of glorifying God, building each other up, and serving those around us. The Church is not a building, or a place to gather, rather the Church is the people who follow Jesus.  It is a diverse group of people, from a diverse set of traditions, who gather in local church buildings all around the world.  We believe we are one of the many local churches which collectively make up the Church.

We believe the local church does not exist for its own benefit.  It exists for the glory of God, and to minister to the world around us.  The church doors should be open to all.   Jesus said he did not come for the healthy, or the perfect; but for the sick, the sinners, the hurting, and the broken. (Mark 2:17)  The church is the same.  We exist for the struggling, the addicts, the homeless, those broken by life’s struggles.  All should come as you are; no masks, no show, and no pretense.  Whether you are the pastor, a leader in the church, a life-long Christian, or a homeless drug addict off the streets.  Bring your real authentic self, all the mess and dysfunction, all the beauty and talent.  Be real, but be prepared to meet Jesus and be transformed, renewed and changed.
